This raw Spring Blossom honey is produced by our own bees in the Northumberland countryside. Limited amounts of this honey are produced annually. This is the first honey produced from the bees in the UK season that we harvest and is mainly from the bright Yellow fields of Oil Seed Rape. This is the bee equivalent of a fast food restaurant, the flowers on the rape seed plant have a high amount of pollen and if the weather (temperature) is right the nectar flows readily.

This honey has a loverly delicate taste and a texture similar to peanut butter. Easily spread and stays the same from the day you buy it to the day its all gone.... We don't filter or pasteurise our honey, leaving all the pollens and natural enzymes intact. Knowing exactly where the honey is from allows us to guarantee that this is simple honey from the b to the jar.

This is the first honey produced from the bees in the UK season that we harvest mainly from the bright Yellow fields of Oil Seed Rape that flower from the middle of April to the end of May. Its the bee equivalent of a fast food restaurant, the flowers on the rape seed plant have a high amount of pollen and if the weather and (temperature) is right the nectar flows readily. We work with local landowners and farmers to site the bee hives as near to the fields as possible, this works for both parties as the farmer can see a rise in the amount of crop produced due to the pollination service the bees provide whilst visiting the flowers on the crop. This honey has a loverly delicate taste but the one draw back is that it can set hard in the jar. To solve this problem we take this honey and cream it. This means that we have changed the structure of the honey to make it into a texture similar to peanut butter. Easily spread and stays the same from the day you buy it to the day its all gone.... We don't filter or pasteurise our honey, this leaves all the pollens and natural enzymes intact in the honey. By leaving the honey as natural as possible it may help relieve the symptoms of hay-fever where ever you live in the UK. At any one time flowers, grasses and trees are producing pollen which can cause allergies, the species don't vary vastly from county to county. We Know exactly where the honey is produced allowing us to guarantee that this is simply honey from the b to the jar.
